Conference Information
The 2023 Inaugural TEAAP Conference will be held at the Williamson County Ag Park, located at 4215 Long Lane in Franklin, Tennessee. If you need assistance with directions, please contact the Williamson County UT Extension Office at 615-790-5721.
Join us for two days of professional development, team-building, learning, and fun!
The cost of the conference will be $75 for TEAAP Members and $100 for Non-Members.
Conference lodging will be available at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Franklin at the rate of $125 per night.
You are encouraged to wear your UT, UT/TSU, or TSU name tag. If you do not have one, we can provide a paper nametag at the registration table.
The dress code is business casual.

The 2023 Inaugural TEAAP Conference will be held at Williamson County Ag Park, with lodging available at the nearby Drury Plaza Hotel Franklin.
Directions to the Williamson County Ag Expo Park (4215 Long Lane, Franklin):
- Whichever interstate you are coming in from (I-40, I-24, 840, 440) you need to get onto Interstate 65.
- Off I-65, take exit # 61 Goose Creek Bypass/Peytonsville Road
- Go east onto Goose Creek Bypass/Peytonsville Road
- Turn left at the light (TA truck stop and Twice Daily on corners) onto Long Lane
- The Williamson County Ag Expo Park is on the right, you will turn right at the main entrance (LED sign) of the Williamson County Ag Expo Park
- Park in the main parking lot across from the walkway up to the main entrance doors
Conference lodging will be at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Franklin.

The room rate is $125 per night. King and double Queen rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend having a roommate and splitting the cost. One person will make the reservation and the hotel will generate two invoices at time of checkout for each to pay separately.

Tuesday, May 9th – Directions from Williamson County Ag Expo Park (4215 Long Lane) to the Drury Plaza Hotel Franklin (1874 W McEwen Drive):
- Turn left out of the Williamson County Ag Expo Park onto Long Lane
- Go .3 miles and turn right at the light onto Peytonsville Road and stay in the far right lane
- Make a right at the light to merge onto I-65 North
- Follow I-65 North for approximately 5 miles and take exit 67 McEwen Drive
- Take a left at the end of the ramp onto W McEwen Drive
- Go .2 miles and turn left at the light into Drury Plaza hotel/Granite City parking lot
Wednesday, May 10th – Directions from Drury Plaza Hotel Franklin (1874 W McEwen Drive) to the Williamson County Ag Expo Park (4215 Long Lane):
- Turn right out of hotel parking lot onto W McEwen Drive

Another option for funding for the conference is the UT Career Development Fund, a program for non-exempt staff employees at the University of Tennessee supported by annual gifts from employees. The fund will provide up to $150 per recipient during each fiscal year. You need to apply by April 17, 2023. You can learn more and apply at https://hr.tennessee.edu/eod/career-development-fund/
